– Alice Marie Gohl passed away Oct. 6, 2016, at Bee Hive Homes in Missoula at the age of 90. Alice was born Aug. 19, 1926, to Roy and Susanne (Stolz) Carman in Webb City, Missouri. Her early education was in Burke, Idaho. She graduated from high school in Bremerton, Washington.
Alice married Arnold Gohl on Feb. 2, 1952. From that union three sons were born, Gary, Ron and Craig, all of Missoula. Alice worked for over 20 years at White Pine Sash. After retirement Alice and Arnold spent some winters in Yuma, Arizona. Alice enjoyed family, gardening and baking. Her cinnamon rolls were the best!
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Albert and Robert Carman; her husband, Arnold (2013); and daughter in-law, Patti (Mindt) Gohl (2011). She is survived by her three sons; a sister, Norma Decker of Mullan, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church building fund.
