Cecilia Catherine Morgenstern

Cecilia Catherine Morgenstern, 88 of Hemet, California, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. She was born July 7, 1927, in Great Falls. Cecilia was a loving caring mother, grandmother and friend. She was passionate about dancing, cooking, traveling and camping adventures. She was president of the Red Hat Society. When she resided in Missoula she was a member of the Toastmistress, Lady Lions and Missoula Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by her son, Robert Moy; stepchildren and spouses, Jack and Annie Morgenstern, Richard and Marsha Morgenstern and Larry and Dora Lee Stephens; sisters and brother, Mary Chrispen, Victoria Washut and Lou Taberna and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morgenstern; companion Harry Wellings; daughter and son-in law Dave and Vicki Gustafson.

A graveside memorial service is being planned on Friday, Aug. 26, at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Missoula at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at Darlene and Randy Triplett’s home in Florence.
