Christian F "Chris" Kuntz

MISSOULA ~ Chris F. Kuntz, 89 of Missoula, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Ivy in Deer Lodge of cancer.
He was born July 31, 1932 in Moise, Montana to Chris A. and Anna (Gress) Kuntz. He grew up in Moise Valley with his three brothers.
Chris proudly served in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1955 during the Korean War.
He married Audrey R. Smart in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They lived in Montana most of their lives where he worked as a mechanic.
Together, they raised four children, Tammy (Dan Rising) Sullivan, Belinda (James S) McLean, Corina Boyd and Chris L (Amber) Kuntz; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter; three brothers and a nephew.
His Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Missoula. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors accorded by the United States Navy.
