Darrell Lee Peoples

DEER LODGE ~ Darrell Lee Peoples (divorced), 69, of Deer Lodge, MT, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 in Missoula, MT. Darrell was born to Jodie William Peoples and Mary Magdalen Lee on December 13, 1955 in Canyonville, OR. Darrell spent many of his later years in Rochester, WA before moving to Deer Lodge, MT proceeding his death.

Darrell was known for his love of hunting and fishing. He could always be found working on projects, especially his enthusiasm for wood working, working with vehicles, and riding, modifying, or repairing his Harley. Most of all he loved his family, children, and grandchildren greatly.

He will be forever missed and always remembered.

Darrell is survived by his daughter Amanda Peoples-Washington (and Husband Chris Washington) and son Nathan Peoples (and fiancé Breanna McKinnon), grandchildren – Alex Ortega, Nevaeh Ortega, Devin Washington, Avery Washington, and Dakota Stuber, and his siblings – Mary Joe Smith, Stella Holmes, Tammy Arca, Debbie Peoples, Linda Kalnbach, and Bill Peoples.

Darrell is proceeding in death by Mary Lee (mother), Jodie Peoples (father), Glen Peoples (brother), Carol Peoples (sister), Elijah Ortega (great grandson)
