Esther H Frey

Long time Missoula resident and Northside fixture, Esther Frey, passed away peacefully January 27th at age 93 with her family by her side. As a result of her passing, she will no longer be available for emergency babysitting, short-term loans, shoveling neighborhood sidewalks, watering boulevard trees or mowing lawns. The family would also like to make you aware that the thousands of cookies, pies, scones, muffins and cakes she made every year will no longer be available and could result in sugar price fluxuations.

Esther is sorely missed. She leaves behind her daughter Karen (Bob Thomas) and son Michael (Linda); grandsons Brian, Chad (Marisa) and Matt (Jeanna) as well as four great grandchildren, Eric, Isaiah, Carol and Alyeska. Also, one brother, Albert, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial for Esther and her husband Clifford “Butch” Frey (who passed away in 2010) will be held Friday, August 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A luncheon reception will follow.
