In Loving Memory of Gloria Jean Becker

August 3, 1951 – July 9, 2026

Today, Heaven welcomed a beautiful new angel.

Gloria Jean Becker was a collector of treasured memories and a woman whose unwavering strength, kindness, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her. She was a fierce, compassionate, and devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was especially dedicated to her beloved daughter, Christy Jean. After many years apart, we find comfort in knowing they have finally been reunited—walking hand in hand, free from pain, worry, and suffering, surrounded by eternal peace.

Whenever you think of Gloria and Christy, remember them with a smile, because they are surely smiling together now.

Remembering Gloria

Gloria lived life with joy and a playful spirit. She happily ate mud pie cookies, ice skated with her mom’s metal bread pans over her shoes, jumped into rain puddles, hung upside down off of clothesline poles, and never turned down something sweet.

If Gloria ever asked for “just one more minute,” you knew that one minute could easily turn into thirty. Those little moments are memories her family will treasure forever.

A note that Gloria wrote to her daughter Christy Jean:

My Dearest Angel

When the loneliness feels overwhelming, I will look for your brightest star in the night sky. There I will remember that you are watching over us from God’s loving hands. No one can ever convince me that you weren’t perfect enough to become one of His precious angels.

You will always be my angel, and forever in my heart.

Now this is a message Gloria writes to us all.

Oh, little sister, how deeply you will be missed.

A family visitation and celebration of Gloria’s life will be announced at a later date.
