James M "Jim" Dolan

James M. Dolan “Jim”, age 81 of Missoula passed away on Oct. 26, 2017 at his home from natural causes.
Jim was born on Mar. 8, 1936 in Roseburg, Ore., the son of Edmund and Helen Dolan. He received his Bachelor degree from Oregon State and worked as a forester for 37 years, retiring in 1991. In 1959 he married Sharon (Hayford) Dolan in Klamath Falls, Ore.
Jim was a great woodworker and gardener and he was very active in Sentinel Kiwanis serving as President and LT Governor. He was also on the board of Mountain Line. He knew no strangers and had a great sense of humor. He was a great family man who loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his wife and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Helen Dolan and a brother and a sister.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sharon, son, Scott (Sissy), a daughter, Jill (Rob) Maupin, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as his brother Terry.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, Nov. 2 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1400 Gerald Ave with Rev. Jeff Fleming officiating.
