Jean Rheinschmidt

Martha “Jean” Rheinschmidt, 95, passed away on August 21, 2022, in Missoula. She was born in Kootenai, Idaho, on October 29, 1926, and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, the 4th youngest of 13 children. She married Bob Rheinschmidt on April 11, 1949, and had 2 children. They then moved to Missoula, MT in 1959. She worked and retired from the Missoula Public School system. Jean was a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women’s Group. She was also involved with the Garden Club and belonged to a pinochle group. She and Bob enjoyed traveling, watching baseball, basketball, and spending time with their grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Cliff), son, Mark, grandsons, Cory, Sean (Angela), and Tanner, great-grand-daughter, Chelsea, and two brothers, George, and Don Reynolds. Jean is preceded in death by, her husband, Bob, and grandson, Taylor. Funeral services will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, August 26th at 1:30pm
