John Samuel "Dutch" Baughman

Dutch was born Oct. 11, 1935, in Missoula, to Samuel and Lucille Baughman. He attended Missoula County High School until he joined the United States Army.

On Friday, June 13, 1958, he married Joyce C. Pickens. After working various construction jobs, Dutch and Joyce opened West Wind Antiques, where they worked until their retirement. In his retirement, Dutch enjoyed landscaping and mowing anyone's lawn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Dale, Dick, Barry, Bruce and Bill.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Joyce, his daughter, Linda (Pri) Fernando, sons, Wade (Jamie), Dennis (Tawnie) Baughman, grandchildren, Sherine (Mark) Blackford, Sherika Fernando, Nick (Amanda) Baughman, Taylor Baughman (Brendon Sanchez), Brady and Carter Baughman, one great granddaughter (Selah Blackford) due in January.

A family memorial will be held in June.
