Obituary for Larry Lee Pyette

BELOVED, DEVOTED FATHER, GRANDFATHER, loving brother, uncle, cousin, friend, proud Army Veteran; a true ONE IN A MILLION loved by many! Larry ascended to Heaven Oct. 27, 2018, (age 69) to join/embrace his daughter, Andrea; son, Larry Alan; father, Pete; mother, Marion Youso; brother, Peter; uncle Willie; many loved ones await his welcoming after passing away in his home surrounded by loved ones...mutually, as a family, under the care of his beloved daughters and their families, fully devoted to honor his wishes. Survived by: brother, Donald Pyette (Judy), and his legacy lives on through his deeply cherished daughters, Stacy (Justin Schriver); Kelli (Kenny Christensen); his ADORED grandchildren, Tyler, MaKenna, Landin, Tanner, Karsyn, Kyleigh...several relatives and dear friends. Larry embraced many other children including daughter, Kristi; Sierra & grandchildren, Ryan, Kaleb, Jayda & Abi.. offering a place in his heart as his own; yet one more authentication of his heartfelt love, kindness & generosity! Larry served as a Sergeant in Vietnam Feb. 1, 1968 — May 31, 1970, in the U.S. Army and he received his Honorable discharge upon the passing of his father. Upon return from Vietnam he embraced life. Larry was known/loved by many. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, riding Razor ATVs, loved the outdoors, playing cribbage, so much more BUT most of all, family time was of the utmost importance to Larry. His daughters and their families honored his every wish adding even more treasured times! Larry remained strong, supportive/optimistic even amidst “the amount of tragedy/suffering” — (loss of 2 children to Leukemia & Homicide) — “that he endured throughout his life; he chose NOT to go down the road of bitterness, discouragement, nor extended periods of anger. He chose to rise above that! To be a LIGHT!” He will be desperately missed by ALL! A Celebration of Life Potluck to be held Nov. 17, 2018, 3-8 p.m. at the Red Barn/Lions Park (1305 Haaglund Dr., Missoula, MT). Non alcoholic beverages provided but of course Larry would welcome all to bring a beverage of choice in celebrating LIFE with us all.
