MISSOULA ~ Lorriane Rall Alexander, 92, of Missoula, Montana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Hope Hospice Center in Missoula. She was surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born in Hurdsfield, North Dakota, she spent her early years there before her family moved to Montana. Eventually, she set her roots in Missoula where she created a welcoming home for many decades.
Lorraine built a beautiful family and is survived by her children; Otto Wilson, Mollie Wilson, Helen Hanner and Vincent Alexander, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were her greatest joy.
Lorraine had a gift for making ordinary moments special. Each summer, she lovingly made jam and canned goods from the apricot tree in her yard, filling her pantry with the sweet flavors of her labor and sharing them with her family and friends.
She also played an important role in helping to raise and care for many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always remember her love, guidance and gentle presence.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husbands, Glen Henry Wilson and Alvin Alexander and her son, Glen Wilson, Jr.
The family will honor her life with a small and private ceremony, set for a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Missoula.
