MISSOULA ~ Nora A. Horton,84, passed away March 21, 2026, at Valley Health and Rehab in Hamilton, MT.

Born November 11, 1941, in Seattle, Washington, Nora spent the last years of her life in Missoula, Montana. She was a retired long haul truck driver, for over 20 years she traveled across the United States driving with her husband. She loved dolls and pigs and had an extensive collection of both. Nora received numerous ribbons at community fairs for crafting porcelain dolls. She was a member of the Eastern Stars organization and took part in many events. Her final wish was to go “home” to be with Bert.

Nora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Berton “Snoopy” Horton, as well as her first husband, William Hopkins. She was also preceded by her parents, Bill and Lorna Gossett, and by four of her five siblings.

Her surviving family includes her brother, eleven children, seventeen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.

A family graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nora’s name can be made to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Missoula, Montana.
