Richard Anthony Zientek

MISSOULA ~ Richard A. Zientek, 71, of Missoula passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home in Missoula.
He was born September 5, 1950 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to Michael and Helen (Fritzinger) Zientek. After living in Hazleton, he moved to Center City, Pennsylvania. From there he moved to Montana he met and married his wife, Lucy. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Shaw and Bridget (Bryan) Mahoney; two grandsons, Kyle and Conner Mahoney and a lot of friends and extended family.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Richard was a dedicated employee of the City of Missoula where he enjoyed his time and developed many friendships.
He enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, NASCAR was active with the Basset Rescue of Montana.
A Celebration of Richard’s life will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to BassetRescue of Montana in Frenchtown.
