Obituary for Rose Marie Leisle

Rose Marie Leisle, 62, of Missoula, MT, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in her home after a 15 month battle with cancer.

She was born on March 12, 1955 in Fresno, CA to Cecil and Edith Atkins. Growing up, she attended Madison Elementary School and Central Union High School where she lettered in band.

On October 16, 1976, she married Stanley Leisle in Fresno. In 1995, the couple moved to Missoula, MT, before heading back to the Central Valley in 2002, and finally back to Missoula in 2009. Her career included working in the insurance industry and property management.

She always put her relationship with Jesus and her family first. She was actively involved with the Walk to Emmaus where she would often help lead worship. She absolutely loved to sing and play her guitar. Her favorite place to be was at the beach, and she would never turn down a road trip!

She was a loving wife, mother, and nana who loved her grandkids dearly. She was a friend to everyone she met- always putting everyone else's needs and wants before her own, and was a selfless giver.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Cecil and Edith, brother Timothy, and son Joshua.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley; son Ryan, his wife Rachel and their three children of Missoula, MT; daughter Melissa, her husband Nathan, and their four children of Helena, MT. She is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and many long-time friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 am at Christian Life Center in Missoula, MT with Pastor Paul Feuerstein of Helena officiating. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
