Thomas A. Font

MISSOULA ~ Thomas A. Font, 92, of Missoula, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at his home.

He was born July 8, 1933 in Warren, Pennsylvania, the last of 8 children born to Ruth (Hunter) and Anthony Font. He married Mary Ann Schafer on August 23, 1952. She preceded him in death June 7, 2015. Also preceding him are his parents; one son, Larry in 1999 and all his siblings.

Thomas attended Warren schools and graduated from Warren High School, class of 1951. He was drafted into the United States Army and served overseas in 1953 during the Korean campaign. After his return, he was employed in Jamestown, New York at Marlin – Rockwell for 26 years. He then moved the family in 1978 to Montana where he owned and operated a Supper Club for 15 years, retiring in 1993.

He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, RVing, boating, cycling and NASCAR.

Thomas is survived by two daughters, Susan Marie (Kent) Roberts and Barbara Ann (Mitchell) Royce; one grandson, Matthew and one granddaughter, Megan.
