Tom "Tommy" Goldsby

January 25, 1950 — June 6, 2022

Long time Missoula resident Thomas F. Goldsby, 72, died June 6, 2022 at his home with his long-time partner/wife Hollie Loftus at his side.

At his request, no service will be held.

Mr. Goldsby was born January 25, 1950, along with his twin Gerald R. Goldsby in Ft. Meade, Maryland to Edward and Betty Goldsby.
Tommy could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. At a very early age, him and his brother were very good at basketball, and both tried out for scholarships at the University of Montana, Missoula. Not deterred by getting the scholarship he so really wanted, he also had the talent as a dancer with his brother at Chippendales in San Diego, California…
Tommy had a varied career and was a CNA at a Pullup, Washington mental health facility for a number of years. He brought that talent to Missoula to a mental health facility where he was a 14-year employee. To supplement his career, he was a model for JC Penny and other big-name companies for their ads for men’s clothing before he retired. Tommy had a great sense of humor and could take a joke as well as give it. He was always fastidious and his looks because of his work as a model and the family inside joke to keep Tommy busy, was to hang a mirror in every room of the house because there was never a mirror he didn’t like to look at himself in. Hollie can attest to that. Tommy in this light was always the hit at gatherings of which him and Hollie were at, and he will be sorely missed, along with his humor.

Tommy is survived by his partner/wife Hollie Loftus, his son Christopher Goldsby of Phillipsburg, Montana, and his brother John Goldsby of Florida. He is also survived by too many to mention cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Condolences may be sent to Hollie Loftus in Missoula at 4608 Graham St., Missoula Montana. 59808.
